We decided to write a blog post as a class so that you all know what our goals are for Thanksgiving break. We realized today that the kids have a total of 9 days of no school! Wow! Ms. Klope isn't so lucky :)
1. Don't forget come to your scheduled conference
2. Here are our academic goals:
1. Don't forget come to your scheduled conference
2. Here are our academic goals:
- Math: ST, any fluency practice, math games with your family
- * We are working to memorize our multiplication facts! Students are bringing home their hand made multiplication charts in their orange folders. They can use those to double check their answers or to find an answer they don't yet know.
- Reading: READ EVERY DAY! ENJOY YOUR READING. SHARE IT WITH A FRIEND.
- Writing: We are wanting to start recording our oral storytelling of our Harris Burdick stories when we return from break. We are challenging ourselves to finish our final drafts by the time we return back to school! Students are taking home their first drafts, their editing checklists with their goals, and any final work they have done. If you can help your child to complete their final draft-that would be GREAT!
- Last Goal: Spend great time with your friends and family. Have fun. Eat some delicious food, and think of all the wonderful things in our lives that we can be thankful for. This is our month of Gratitude!
